A day in the life of Bishopstrow College
I am a senior student who has been studying in Bishopstrow for four months. This is my second term here. If you ask me what life at Bishopstrow is like, I think it is really interesting and fascinating.
Everyday we get up at half past seven and get ready for breakfast. The breakfast is different every day of the week. Then it is about half past eight, everybody goes to the biggest classroom where we have a register and we watch the news together to know what is happening around the world. After that we go to different classrooms to have lessons such as history, business, physics etc. We have twenty minutes break time that we can eat croissants between the first lesson and second. We have lunch as soon as the second lesson finishes. There is much delicious food which comes from different countries.
In the afternoon we have two lessons, they are sometimes maths, English literature or IT. Also, we have a break time between two lessons. If there is a student's birthday we will eat a birthday cake in this time. As you know, sport is very important for teenagers. So we have different sports everyday. For example, we always have basketball on Monday; girls usually have netball on Thursday. It is laying the foundation for our next school's sport.
After dinner we have prep time Monday to Friday. At the weekend we have activities such as watching films then we have free time when we can do something we want. For instance we can have a relax in the common room.
At night, I talk to my two room mates who come from Angola and Russia before I sleep. We talk about different cultures of our countries and share nice things. We say 'good night' to each other and have a deep sleep. What a nice day! We all enjoy ourselves here. Bishopstrow is a magical place where you can learn a lot. And you can even make your dreams come true.

The best day at Bishopstrow College
In the middle of the first term in Bishopstrow my friends and I didn't expect that Saturday to be such an excellent day. We usually go on a trip on Sundays with our members of staff and somewhere rather far from our college. However, that weekend was very extraordinary, because we were going to have a very unusual short trip to Stourhead with Mr and Mrs Henson on Saturday.
As usual my best friend Nelly and me dressed up after sport on Saturday morning and had lunch before our trip. We charged Nelly's camera and came out on the parking area. You will not believe, but weather in England in the end of October was not rainy, windy or cloudy. It was incredibly exciting weather. I remembered that mild and warm sunshine forever which immediately reminded me of my parents and my home….
30 minutes later we arrived at a very wonderful place, where Nelly and I felt mysterious spirit in our souls, because there we could see many massive trees and fascinating flowers. First of all, Mr and Mrs Henson split us into two groups, between each of them. Nelly and I were in the same group. Next, our group and Mr Henson were looking through the gallery, which we found very educational and historical. It made me interested in it a lot. The most entertaining and breathtaking room in that gallery was the enormous library. Nelly and I took loads of photos there. Another part of our trip which became very memorable was the performance on the piano performed by Julia, a very nice girl, who studied with us in the first term.
After that, we were walking in beautiful gardens and making thousands of pictures together. Incredible lakes, wonderful trees, exciting views…everything amazed us a lot!
All in all, it was the most memorable and unforgettable day in Bishopstrow, You know why? The reason is that Bishopstrow apart from fantastic education and excellent attitude to students gives you an opportunity to find friends. Luckily, I've met two people, who became very important and very best friends for me, Nelly and Yarik. I love them a lot and think our triple will keep in touch for a long time. Thank you for making my days, my term and my mind!
