Since opening in 2006, Bishopstrow College has helped children aim for, and then achieve, the very best academic results possible. Our approach of small class sizes, individual teacher attention, intense exam preparation and English language tuition from the highest qualified and most talented teachers around, really works.
Read the results for 2011 ESOL exams below, this included a 100% pass rate for both the IGCSE course and the Cambridge Suite of ESOL Examinations for 2011.
- Students have gained 100% success in their one-year IGCSE examinations with 68% gaining grades A-C. These pupils should be particularly commended as they completed this course in one year, rather than the usual two.
- Students taking KET examinations gained 100% success with 50% gaining Merit
- Students taking PET examinations gained100% success with 56% gaining Merit
- Students taking FCE examinations gained 100% success with "Exceptional" grades gained in Reading, Writing, Use of English and Listening.

Flexibility - Students need fewer support arrangements while studying at Bishopstrow
We understand how difficult it can be to organise academia and care for your child in another country. That is why we work on a four term system and are open 44 weeks of the year. Our College does not have exeats or holidays and therefore students need fewer support arrangements whilst attending Bishopstrow.
We also do not stipulate that your child has to stay for a certain period of time. We feel it is important that your child can move onto your school of choice when it is in their best interests. We tailor our study programme around you and your child.
Impartiality - No affiliation to any school, just excellent relationships with the best schools
Unlike most International Study Centres, Bishopstrow is not affiliated to a specific school. Instead, it enjoys well established relationships with most UK Independent schools, and can offer truly unbiased advice. Students also enjoy the Principal's extensive network of contacts and excellent relationships with some of the UK's most prestigious Independent schools.

Your child will have full access to our specially tailored sports programme. We believe it is very important that your child exercises regularly while learning about the traditional sports of the UK, including rugby and cricket. The values of sportsmanship; liking playing by the rules, learning how to lose with grace, and staying cool under pressure, are all important values for life. Students will be able to choose from many other sports too; including football, netball, rounders, tennis, basketball, badminton, etc.
