One-Year IGCSE Programme

The One-Year IGCSE Programme at Bishopstrow College offers strong academic preparation combined with targeted English language development, providing an ideal pathway for international students progressing to Sixth Form entry and A-Level study at leading British Boarding Schools and Colleges.

Bishopstrow College offers an outstanding choice for international students. In addition to specialised English as a Foreign Language lessons, students benefit from Content and Language Integrated Learning classes in their academic subjects. These classes are designed to strengthen students’ English skills within the context of subjects that require more complex and specialised language, ensuring they are fully supported both linguistically and academically.

Entry is available at any time of year, and students then progress to the One-Year IGCSE Programme the following September.

All students on the One-Year IGCSE will take part in daily sports training, the BSA Life Skills Programme, and a well-structured Social and Excursion Programme, supporting their personal development and well-being.
