Scholarships and Bursaries

On occasion the College is able to offer EFL learners the opportunity to be considered for a scholarship, students will be assessed as follows:

  • Prior academic achievement;
  • Performance at interview (Zoom, Teams or face-to-face) with a senior member of the College’s academic team, including the ability to show genuine passion and commitment to their chosen academic journey;
  • Performance on the online Password English and Mathematics assessment (to be carried our and invigilated under exam conditions in the student’s home country); and
  • Reference from their current school.

Bursaries are granted in recognition that there are some parents, or even markets, where our programmes are either unaffordable or the fees represent a significant burden. The College supports some families faced with such challenging financial circumstances to ensure their child is able to receive the benefits of a British education. Parents in this position are welcome to apply for Bursary assistance.

Bursaries are assessed on the basis of a means-tested assessment relating to the family’s ability to pay.

The College will normally award Scholarships and Bursaries, but reserves the right not to do so, if in the opinion of the Principal or the Directors, there is not a suitable candidate.
